Have 30 days to make yourself feel better? Life is short--Travel Lght!

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 21, 2009 – www.burnthebaggage.com, A Resource for those experiencing a wrenching life change.
Do you have 30 days to help yourself get rid of emotional baggage?
COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 21st-- Resentment?  Envy?  Anger?  Loss?  Tough-Times?  Ready to rid yourself of the shackles of these useless emotions?  This new web based resource is the thing for you.  These five self-help journals premier just as more and more people are discovering the powerful message of choice in taking charge of their happiness, and the mental ability to change their lives.  Journaling is making a comeback.  Call it writing as therapy. And the price is exactly right: just $4.97 per title.  A very small investment in your own peace of mind.
Life’s too short to let old emotional baggage hold you back, or weigh you down, when other people are flying away, enjoying life, happy and carefree.  It’s a choice: Do you really want to cling to those useless feelings of resentment, envy, anger, loss, or the discouraging sadness of these current tough times?  Or do you choose to identify the luggage of life, the heavy, ponderous mental weight that keeps you from being happy and then dumping it all in the trash bin so you can soar?   Check out these e-books at www.burnthebaggage.com.
Five e-book titles: Resentment; Envy; Anger; Loss; Tough-Times.  Each e-book journal is 60 pages for a one month exercise you’ll do for yourself.  On the odd pages write whatever negative event or situation that interfered with your enjoyment of life that day.  Then, on the even page, write a positive, uplifting message that you create, or one based on the wonderful quotes provided.  After thirty days, rip out the odd, negative, useless pages and throw them in the fire--Burn The Baggage!  You’re left with a glowing, positive diary that you’ve created for yourself.  More important, you’ve made the choice to be a happy, more positive person free from emotional baggage that has weighed you down perhaps for years.

Remember--Life is short--Travel Light!

Whey Protein Powder Benefits Goes Way Beyond Body Building

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 19, 2009 – Whey protein powder as a supplement has consistently been associated with that of the body builder and fitness enthusiast, what very few people actually know is that whey protein powder is often used by many people from all walks of life for the benefit of their overall health and wellbeing. Furthermore the use of whey protein is not new to the health scene, rather its recorded usage in Europe in 1749 gave rise to the beginnings of many spas throughout the Swiss, German and Austrian countryside, with people flocking to these centers to avail themselves of this great new product, which was derived as a by product of the cheese making process. This was not the first recorded use of the whey protein, as Hippocrates was in fact the first to recommend the use of this supplement to promote the health and wellbeing of his patients.
Although whey protein powder provides a valuable component to the nutrition needs of the body, it should be taken in addition to a well balanced diet, and not as a total replacement, but rather that of a supplemental product to contribute to your nutrition.
There are naturally a number of benefits that are provided by the whey protein powder, which when taken will aid in providing you with much needed energy, as well as revitalizing your muscles after exercising, which is of course an ideal partner to such supplementation.
There are numerous benefits, in terms of the body’s metabolism and cellular function that is bolstered by the intake of whey protein powder. These include the promotion of the correct intake of vitamins, proteins, minerals, carbohydrates, which further in turn helps the user in terms of the weight management goals; primarily due to the fact that the satiety, or fullness signals are given from the body, alleviating the sense of hunger. whey protein powder has further been linked to supporting the immune system because of the immunoglobulin found within the supplement. In some of the whey protein powder products there are additional supplements found therein, such as glutamine which has been linked to a number of medical benefits, including aiding in the faster recovery on a post surgical basis, as well as being used in the successful treatment of depression anxiety patients, not to mention those being treated for alcoholism.
As mentioned the whey protein powder is a product or by product made during the cheese making process, and with the advancement of technology one has access to the purest form of whey protein powders, commonly referred to as isolates, which one can implement within their daily diet to not only provide them with that added energy and boost, but also for their overall health and wellbeing.
Sport and Supplements has a range of approved whey protein powders, which has now become available to the public, via their online store, or should we say Sport Supplement Headquarters. Visit http://www.sportandsupplements.com/categories/Whey-Prote ... to view the latest and most advanced range of whey protein powders available today.

Food and diet advice for effective Bodybuilding

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 16, 2009 – The human body is a large machine, which needs to be taken care of in the right manner, and this also needs regular maintenance. The body needs to be given the right kind of food in the right quantities and there should be a reasonable limit to exercising and working out at the gym. Workouts at the gym will not help in achieving the desired results when you have a muscle pull and you will not be able to build the body which you have dreamt about for so long and the body will not be any better off with the extra pain. There are three stages, which are involved in the process of bodybuilding, and these include preparation, activity and recovery. The necessary rules for each stage need to be followed in order to achieve the desired results.
The food, which is consumed by the body, should be able to provide the body with the amount of energy that it needs to do the required amount of exercise. The food, which is being consumed, should contain a lot of carbohydrates. This food will perform the function of fuel for the body and this kind of fuel can be found in foods like rice, bread, pasta and potatoes. But when this kind of food is consumed without a proper exercise regimen to accompany it, the person will start putting on a lot of weight. This makes it all the more necessary to include exercise as a part of your training regimen.
Proteins are also very essential for the body when undergoing training for bodybuilding. Proteins are usually found in meats like lean meat and also in dairy products. This part of the diet will help to get muscles fast. This is similar to the process of tuning up a car and this will provide the car with the extra power that it needs for an exceptional performance. Lean beef or pork is an option and sausages should be completely avoided. A burger should contain eggs and milk, which are wonderful sources of protein.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I'm not very physically fit?

Every exercise or drill can be modified in a way that makes it less strenuous. This enables us to work together as a group while still challenging each individual.

Where is the location we will meet?

West Harrison/White Plains classes are on Tuesday  & Thursday at 6AM & Saturday at 7AM and meet at the West Harrison Athletic Field (1 Casarella Way).

Bronxville classes begin at 6 AM, 10 AM, and 6:30 PM.  We will meet at the Lower Boyscout Field (near the baseball field) located at  1820 Midland Avenue.  All classes last one hour.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

We strive for total fitness, which demands the selection of many different types of exercise. For cardio conditioning, we run, skip rope (don’t worry if your not good at skipping rope, we have ways around that), and do a variety of footwork and callisthenic drills. For improved flexibility, we combine dynamic and static stretches as well as yoga, kickboxing, and other martial arts drills.  To develop strength and power, a mixture of bodyweight and partner-assisted exercises, along with resistance bands and some dumbbell work are used. In addition, you can expect plenty of core conditioning, circuit-style training, obstacle courses and more. You will never see the same exact workout twice.

What do I need to bring?

An exercise mat, one set of small hand weights (2 to 8 lbs.), A water bottle, running shoes, and a positive attitude. You can conveniently purchase any of the aforementioned equipment from our online store or, if you prefer, from local department stores such as Target, Wal-Mart, or Sports Authority.

What can you hope to achieve from camp?

Every individual responds differently according to the effort they put forth and their individual make-up. We think effort makes the biggest difference. Aerodynamically, the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway. Few individuals ever reach the limits of human potential. We believe in you. The greater your dedication and commitment the greater your results. The more closely you follow the strategies we develop for you based on your personal assessment the more body fat you will lose and the more firm your legs, buttocks, and overall body will become. You will get stronger. You will be more confident. You will gain muscle if you choose. You will look and feel the best you have in years.

Why should you participate?

We truly believe your health is your greatest asset. Without it, it is much more difficult to enjoy or cope with the many things that confront us in life. The investment in your well-being will pay dividends for years to come and yield a host of new friends who share and support your passion to be the best you can be.

What is my investment?

The investment per class is $17.50 if you come five days per week.  We offer two and three day memberships at a slightly higher per class rate.  These prices are just a fraction of the typical hourly fees charged by most personal trainers in the region ($40-$150).

When does the assessment take place?

The process of clearly identifying your goals and establishing the specific strategies necessary to ensure your personal success begins when you complete our online  Par-Q.  When we actually meet you we prefer, but do not require,  that you allow us to take a few basic measurements (weight, height, bodyfat percentage) for the purpose of evaluating your progress as time passes.  If you are interested in additional services such as nutrition consultations, meal planning, or personal training we will need some additional information from you prior to being able to offer you those services.

Will I be sore sometimes?

You may be sore for the first few days, but your body will adapt after that point provided you attend classes on a consistent basis.

What kinds of people attend camp?

All kinds of people.  Our programs are designed to challenge and inspire individuals of varying ability and exercise experience.

What is a typical day like at camp?

Never a dull moment with Vonster on the scene.  Each day presents new challenges intended to keep things fresh and suited to your ever improving levels of fitness.  You can count on a little running, dumbell and resistance band training, obstacle courses, and lots of core training each week.  Our top notch trainers will keep a watchful eye on your form to insure you safely get the best results possible from your workout.

When will I see results?

You will begin to feel better immediately.  The first change most people notice is how their clothes fit.  It is not unusual for people to lose one to two pounds per week.  We do not encourage people to lose more than this amount on a weekly basis because an excessive amount of lean metabolism driving muscle is lost.   This loss of lean muscle tends to encourage weight gain later on.
